Preview

Sandboxes for agents, on Daytona.

Give developers and AI agents an isolated environment in seconds: run commands, work with files and git, open a preview port, then snapshot it or let it expire. LegionEdge Sandboxes run on Daytona, and every call is authorized and audited by your workspace.

On Daytona

  • Sandboxes
  • Snapshots
  • Volumes
  • Preview links
  • Process and PTY

What you get

Daytona, without leaving LegionEdge.

Each one is a service in your workspace, under the same identity, permissions, audit log and bill as everything else.

  • Exec, files and git

Run commands or code, stream logs, and open a terminal in the console. Files move through short-lived links, and git credentials come from your workspace secrets.

    Sandboxes
  • Preview ports

Share a running port at its own sandbox address. LegionEdge checks who is viewing before forwarding, and Daytona tokens never reach the browser.

    Sandboxes
  • Templates and snapshots

A template becomes a Daytona snapshot with its image, resources and GPU choices. Start fresh copies from it, and save a sandbox's state when you need it.

    Sandboxes
  • Volumes

Mount persistent volumes into a sandbox, and mount dataset versions read-only for the data an agent works on.

    Sandboxes
  • Built for agents

Agents use API keys scoped to sandboxes, the TypeScript client or the MCP endpoint. Their calls are audited as the agent, alongside the person who sponsors it.

    Sandboxes
  • In pipelines

A pipeline step runs commands in a fresh sandbox and always cleans it up afterwards, whether the step passes or fails.

How it works

Isolated, short-lived sandboxes for developers and AI agents, run on Daytona.

  1. Pick a template

Start from an image with the tools you need, or build your own template and follow its build logs in the console.

  2. Create a sandbox

From the console, the API or an agent, with a time to live and a network policy: no network, LegionEdge endpoints only, or open egress.

  3. Work in it

Run commands, edit files, clone a repository, start a server and share its port as a preview link.

  4. Snapshot or expire

Save the state as a snapshot, extend the time to live, or let it expire and clean itself up.

Accounts

Ours, or your own.

Run on LegionEdge's Daytona account, or connect the one you already have. Credentials stay on the server as workspace secrets and never reach the browser.

  • Managed by LegionEdge

Sandboxes in LegionEdge's own Daytona organization, ready in every workspace that turns Sandboxes on.

    • Nothing to set up
    • US and EU targets
    • Billed on LegionEdge meters
  • Your own Daytona organization

Connect your Daytona organization with an API key kept as a workspace secret. Its scopes are checked when you connect.

    • The key never leaves the server
    • Visible only inside your organization
    • Usage stays on your Daytona bill

Pricing

Billed on LegionEdge meters.

Managed sandboxes are billed for the resources they hold while they run, on the same statement as the rest of your workspace. Sandboxes on your own Daytona organization aren't billed by LegionEdge.

  • Stopped and paused sandboxes pay for disk only
  • Archived sandboxes pay nothing
  • Budgets and spend limits apply to sandboxes like any other usage
