Project Canvas

Preview

Your whole project, on one live canvas.

Every GPU instance, deployment, dataset, volume, pipeline and secret in a project appears as a node, with mounts, data flow and references drawn between them. Stage edits on the canvas and apply them together with one Deploy.

Why Project Canvas

See the architecture you actually run.

Each project opens on its canvas. Resources are nodes with live status, and the mounts, data flow, references and invocations between them are drawn as edges, so the picture is never out of date.

  • Live architecture

Resources and their connections, with live status.

  • Staged changes

Edits collect on the canvas and apply together.

  • Environments

Fork production into staging or preview environments.

How it works

See and change a project's resources on one live canvas.

  1. Add resources

Open the palette with ⌘K or Create and drop in compute, inference, data, automation, secrets or apps, or start from a template.

  2. Connect them

Drag from a port to mount a volume, feed a pipeline or reference a variable. Connections that don’t make sense are refused, with the reason.

  3. Review the changes

Edits are staged, not applied. Review shows each node’s diff, the edges added or removed, the cost change and any permission you’re missing.

  4. Deploy them together

Deploy applies the changeset in dependency order, with progress on each node. If a step fails, retry it or revert what was applied.

In the console

Everything in one place.

Project Canvas lives in the LegionEdge cloud console, next to every other service in the workspace, under one account and one identity.

  • Inspector

Select a node to open its details in a drawer, with tabs that fit the kind of resource it is.

    • Deployments, variables, metrics, logs and settings
    • Linkable: the selected node and tab live in the URL
    • Open on canvas from any product page
  • Environments

Production plus as many staging or preview environments as you need.

    • Fork copies nodes, edges, variables and layout
    • Secrets are copied as references, never values
    • Compare any two environments side by side
  • Variables and references

Wire services together by name instead of pasting URLs and keys.

    • Reference another resource’s values by name
    • Each reference is drawn as an edge
    • Revealing a secret needs permission and a fresh sign-in
  • Teamwork

Several people can work on a project without overwriting each other.

    • See who else is viewing the environment
    • Non-conflicting changes rebase on their own
    • The canvas shows only what your role can read

Pricing

Included

The canvas itself is included. The resources you deploy from it are billed as their own services, the same as when you create them from each product’s page.

Full pricing
  • Review shows the cost change of a changeset, from the price catalog, before you deploy it.
