Fine-tuning

Available

Teach an open model your task, then serve it.

Upload a training set, pick a base model, and get an adapter you can serve on a dedicated endpoint, with loss curves and GPU telemetry while it runs.

Why Fine-tuning

Change how a model behaves, not only what it knows.

A LoRA fine-tune trains a small adapter on top of an open base model, so you change its behavior on your task without paying for a full-weight run. Point a job at a dataset and a base model, watch it train, and promote the result when the evals clear.

  • LoRA adapters

Train on Qwen3 and GLM bases without full-weight cost.

  • Live metrics

Loss, throughput and GPU telemetry as the job runs.

  • One-click serving

Deploy the result to a dedicated endpoint.

How it works

LoRA fine-tunes on the open models in our catalog.

  1. Bring a training set

Upload one, or pick a version of a dataset you already manage, so the job records exactly which data it learned from.

  2. Pick a base model

Choose from the open models in our catalog that are marked trainable.

  3. Watch it train

Follow loss, throughput and GPU telemetry live while the job runs.

  4. Serve the adapter

Deploy the result to a dedicated endpoint in one click, then test, promote and roll it back like any other deployment.

In the console

Everything in one place.

Fine-tuning lives in the LegionEdge cloud console, next to every other service in the workspace, under one account and one identity.

  • Job page

One fine-tune, from the data it read to the adapter it produced.

    • Loss curves and throughput as the job runs
    • GPU telemetry for the hardware it runs on
    • The base model and dataset version it used
  • Adapters

Every finished job leaves an adapter you can serve.

    • Deploy to a dedicated endpoint in one click
    • Or serve it on a shared base as a managed deployment
    • Fine-tune checkpoints as a deployment source
  • Lineage

Know which data a model learned from, and where it is serving now.

    • Dataset version to fine-tune to checkpoint to deployment
    • Linked from the deployment’s own page
  • Automation

Fine-tune on a schedule, or whenever new data lands.

    • A fine-tune step in the pipeline step library
    • Evaluate the result before it is promoted
    • Approval gates where a person should decide

Pricing

Billed per GPU-hour

Fine-tuning is billed per GPU-hour, at compute rates, for the GPUs a job uses. A LoRA run trains an adapter, not the full weights, so you avoid full-weight cost.

  • Fine-tuning comes with the Team plan, alongside endpoints and datasets.
  • Serving the adapter is billed as the deployment it runs on.
